About us
The information centre of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area is situated in the village of Dolní Lomná, just in the easternmost part of the Czech Republic. The part of the IC is the exposition devoted to the Beskydy PLA that introduces important species of the Beskydy fauna and flora. It describes natural values of the area important in the Europe-wide view as well.
Integral part of the Information Centre of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area is also URSUS Adventure Centre. The centre offers plenty of attractions in the field of Nature and its protection, e.g. interactive exposition retelling the story of the Beskydy Mountains in the West Carpathians, "Green Paradise" garden and a unique 3D movie about the Beskydy Mountains.
Information Centre of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area and URSUS Adventure Centre is run by a non-profit organization, infinity-progress z.s.
The organization deals with the enlightenment and education in the field of Environment and Sustainable Development, focusing on the Biodiversity, Natural and Cultural Heritage of the Beskydy Mountains.

The village is situated in the valley of Těšínské Beskydy in the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area. Information centre is located by the 3rd-class road 01151 leading to the village of Dolní Lomná.
