Current Programme
The first stage of setting up visitors’ centres in protected landscape areas was accomplished in 2015. Even though the House of Nature programme came into existence as early as 2006, its name was used for the first time two years later at the visit to the visitors’ centres in Schwarzwald, Germany. Eight houses of nature and seven information centres are available for visitors in the upcoming season. Most of them were only made thanks to support from the European Regional Development Fund. The programme will continue in the following years, when five other houses of nature and one information centre should be built.
