The state enterprise Vojenské lesy a statky, s.p. together with the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic are implementing the project of the Brdy House of Nature, which is the main visitor centre of this protected landscape area.
The House of Nature was created in a reconstructed outbuildings of the former hunting lodge Tři trubky in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area.
Visitors will learn about the specifics of the Brdy region presented at the exhibition in an attractive way.
The Brdy Mountains are an island of mountain forests in the middle of Bohemia, which has been exploited, altered but uninhabited by man for centuries. Even in such an inhospitable area as the poor and rocky Brdy Mountains, valuable treasures can be found - water, forest, peace, extensive moors, peat bogs, stone seas and meadows.
The main guide of the exhibition is the meadow ant.
