We are excited to introduce you to this unique space that we created with love and respect for nature in the heart of the Hodonín region. Our goal is not only to inform, but also to inspire and educate all visitors about the beauty and importance of the natural wealth of our region.
On the northern outskirts of the city of Hodonín, in a location called "Bažantnice" near the Hodonín Zoo and the Hodonínská Dúbrava national natural monument, next to the sports hall, you can visit the newly opened visitor center in the House of Nature program.
On the ground floor of the building, you can soak up the atmosphere of the newly renovated building, and on the second floor, an interactive exhibition will then await you.
This dominant feature made of an all-glass wooden structure is loosely stylized with a light forest in the interior - it creates the feeling as if you were right in the center of Hodonínská Dúbrava.
After a natural disaster in the form of a strong tornado in the area of the House of Nature in 2021, almost nothing remained of the original garden, which represented a considerable obstacle in the initial stages of preparing the project for the outdoor exhibition of the House of Nature.
The exhibition describes unique fragments of oak forests in the area of Hodonín and at the same time aims to introduce visitors to the local fauna and flora.
